mSafe wants to be able to demonstrate to customers that it has information security in place. This is why, since February 2024, we have met the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the standard for information security.
This applies to the scope: “Building, maintaining, managing, selling and supporting a Software-as-a-Service application for the exchange of files.“
Every year DEKRA Certification checks whether we still meet the criteria for this, and once every three years a complete ISO audit takes place.
Since the beginning of mSafe, security has been a high priority, and that includes hosting. For scalability reasons, mSafe is hosted in the cloud. Here, a secure cloud environment in that is actually in the Netherlands was chosen. Thus, all data and files in mSafe remain within the Dutch national borders.
Furthermore, mSafe only works with processors if they can demonstrate that they process data within the EEA or other adequately approved countries. Thus, we ensure that data within mSafe is optimally secured.
